What SHOULD and SHOULD NOT be sent out over the Chapter's List Serve
1. Job listings-for administrators (if employer wants posted)
2. Product/Software evaluations in survey form only.
3. ALA program announcements.
4. All List Serve inquiries are protected under a Confidentiality statement. Please do not forward list serve surveys and its email address listing to someone else. If you forward the survey questions to someone else in your firm, cut and paste the message and they need to respond to you (the member) so you can respond to the list serve.
5. No endorsement of products or personnel. The list serve is for informational purposes only.
6. Everyone uses "reply to sender" only during survey responses. List serve chairperson will tabulate responses and forward the survey results to all members.
7. No questions about salaries or money.
8. No classified advertisements for furniture, office space, etc.
9. No help wanted ads for staff positions. Help wanted ads are to be placed on the Chapter's Web site every Friday. They will remain on the Web site for one month. This service is free to all chapter members.
